Home Consultations
Initial Visits
Initial home visits are tailored to individual family's needs, but may include:

Brief history of parents and infant.

Assessment of latch and observation of feeding

Weighted pre and post feeding assessment with provided scale

Hands on recommendations for positioning and latch assistance

Oral anatomy and breast anatomy assessment

Breast pump observation and support, including flange sizing and recommendation

Virtual Consultations
Prenatal Visits
Prenatal visits are great for pregnant individuals to prepare for infant feeding after birth. These visits include:

Brief history of parents

Basic breastfeeding education and tips on what to expect in the first three days after birth

Establish feeding goals and feeding plan
-
Resources on when and how to reach out for support.
Initial Virtual Visits
Initial virtual visits are tailored to meet the specific needs of each family. These visits may include:

Brief history of parents and infant

Basic breastfeeding education; questions/answer session

Limited latch and positioning support
-
Back to Work pumping/feeding plans

Pumping Support
Follow up visits are in person visits that check the progress made on previous goals. Infants change week to week and may need additional time to assess progress. Most initial visits require 1-2 follow up visits. These visits usually include a weight check and assessment of feeding.
Pricing
Many insurance companies cover lactation visits, however coverage varies by plan, make sure you check your insurance eligibility to see if you can get these visits covered. Once you have received an approval, you can book the services that best meet your needs below:
Note: A $50 booking/administrative fee is applied for all insurance visits,
a $25 deposit is required to book all other appointments an is applied towards overall payment, payment is due at time of service.

How to Prepare for Your Visit

Make sure your infant is hungry prior to visit so that we can assess a full feeding. Our recommendation is start a feeding about 2-3 hours prior to the visit so that your infant will be ready to eat again when we meet.

If you are supplementing, please have a bottle of expressed milk prepared.

Please have all available devices you are currently using with feedings (nipple shield, syringes, etc).

Breast pump and all accessories you are using.

Home Visits: We'll need a clean, flat surface to place our infant scale. As much as we love our furry children, please put away all pets prior to consultant's arrival.

Virtual Visits: Please make sure you are in a well lit area with reliable internet connection.
